Construction English Survival

About the Program

Safety Communication Training for Construction Sites

Reduce risk. Improve safety communication. Support HSE systems.

Construction English Survival™ is a safety communication training program designed for construction companies operating with multilingual workforces. It helps workers understand safety instructions the first time, react immediately to warnings, and communicate clearly in high-risk situations.

Safety Rules Fail When Communication Fails

On many construction sites, safety procedures exist, but communication breaks down. Toolbox talks are not fully understood, commands are repeated multiple times, warnings are not reacted to quickly, and PPE instructions are misunderstood or ignored. Most incidents are caused by miscommunication rather than missing rules.

Safety Communication as an Administrative Control

Construction English Survival™ is not an English course. It is a safety-support training program focused only on critical construction safety language. The training supports existing HSE systems and does not replace technical safety training or legal compliance.

What the Training Covers

  • PPE and basic safety commands
    • Dangerous areas and risk awareness
    • Warning others on site
    • Emergency and evacuation language
    • Supervisor instructions and responses
    • Reporting unsafe situations

How the Program Works

  • 10 structured sessions (50 minutes each)
    • On-site, online, or hybrid delivery
    • Picture-based, speaking-focused lessons
    • Toolbox-talk micro-sessions available (15–20 minutes)

Designed to Support HSE & Audit Requirements

The program supports UK HSE and CDM expectations as well as UAE HSE frameworks. It fits into training matrices, site inductions, and toolbox talks. Audit-ready documentation is provided.
